Farewells Fare Well

Looking up the sky, watching the moon

There it was, fading slowly away

Clouds hovering as to wrap up soon

So I said ‘Hello’ to come what may
A certain gloom hugged the chilly morn

With nothing else but silence to hear

But then time bounds a newborn

Music to the ears as birds cheer
To the moon, I was to bid farewell

Goodbyes are all anyone can tell

But not for the rising sun

As darkness makes a run
To me it reminded a light that won’t go out

Even if house lights across flickered

Or the moon and the sun rounded about

‘Cause the dawn has hopes that does not falter
And with you opens up Goodbyes after.
